<p><strong>July 12th is Net Neutrality day.</strong> As you probably know, the United States FCC wants to give big cable companies control over what we see and do online. If they get their way, they’ll allow widespread throttling, blocking, censorship, and extra fees across US-based websites.</p>
<p><strong>This means that websites &#8211; like RepairShopr and more importantly, your own business website &#8211; could be censored, slowed down, or forced to charge extra fees.</strong></p>

<p>Today&#8217;s feature covers a recent update to RepairShopr&#8217;s mobile apps that we&#8217;re pretty excited to share <img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/14.0.0/72x72/1f642.png" alt="🙂" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /></p>
<p><strong>RepairShopr&#8217;s iOS and Android apps now have the same Search power as RepairShopr web!</strong></p>

<p>Universal Search, better known as &#8220;Search All The Things,&#8221; is now available on the latest versions of RepairShopr&#8217;s iOS and Android apps. This means you can quickly access critical information from Customers, Tickets, Invoices, or Products while working on-the-go and in the field.</p>
<p>Using Search All The Things on the mobile apps works just like RepairShopr web:</p>
<p>1) Tap the Search field at the top of the app and enter a word or partial word to locate all references to it within the app.<br />
2) Search results will show any match within a particular Customer, Ticket, Invoice, or Product.<br />
3) Tap the result in the list to view it in detail.</p>
<p>If you&#8217;ve already downloaded RepairShopr&#8217;s app on your iPhone or Android phone, make sure you&#8217;ve updated to the most recent version in order to use Universal Search. If you haven&#8217;t tried RepairShopr&#8217;s apps yet, now&#8217;s the time!</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Hey RepairShoprs! We’ve got a special release for you that we’ve been quietly working on that makes an existing integration even more powerful.</p>
<p>We’re excited to introduce the RepairShopr + Kabuto “Magic Link” integration</p>
<p>Lately, lots of RepairShoprs have been saying how much they like the Kabuto and TechSuite products from RepairTech. With that in mind, we worked with the RepairTech team to build even cooler functionality between RepairShopr and Kabuto.</p>
<p>This integration update maps your Kabuto Customers and Alerts into RepairShopr Customers and Tickets, allowing you to get more done in fewer steps.</p>
<p>With this integration, you’ll be able to easily install Kabuto on Customer Devices, map them into RepairShopr, and watch the dollars come in every month!</p>
<p><strong>What the Integration Does</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Map Kabuto &#8220;Customers&#8221; to RepairShopr &#8220;Customers&#8221;</li>
<li>Feeds error reports into RepairShopr for one-click Ticket creation</li>
<li>Automatically creates Assets from monitored computers</li>
<li>Continually updates assets with machine names, serial numbers, etc</li>
<li>Generates uniques links for each Customer to install Kabuto, which we&#8217;re calling the “Magic Link”</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>The &#8220;Magic Link&#8221;</strong><br />
<br />Now, you might be thinking: ‘Mapping Kabuto Customers to RepairShopr will save a lot of time, but I need to get more customers using Kabuto!’ Don’t worry! We built a special feature of the integration to include a one click method of sending your customers a Kabuto Installer URL, which we&#8217;re calling the Kabuto &#8220;Magic Link.&#8221;</p>
<p><em>That means that you can send all of your customers a unique Kabuto Installer link with just a couple clicks in RepairShopr.</em>
</p>
<p>We did this using RepairShopr’s Marketr module. When you’re ready to invite your customers to install Kabuto, follow these steps.</p>
<ol>
<li>Go to Marketr in your RepairShopr account.</li>
<li>Click “Enable” under the Kabuto “Magic Link” email template.</li>
</ol>
<p>This will trigger a one-time email to each of your existing customers. The email will include a unique Kabuto Installer link that is automatically generated for each Customer, so you’re able to track who installed the program from within your Kabuto dashboard. </p>
<p>If the Customer exists in RepairShopr but not Kabuto, they can click the link and that Customer will be instantly (and magically) imported from RepairShopr into Kabuto. The Customer will be under the correct Customer with all their info attached and also mapped to the right Customer in RepairShopr.</p>
<p>If the Customer already exists in Kabuto, they&#8217;ll be matched up properly and get the right Kabuto &#8220;Magic Link&#8221; as expected.</p>
<p>This feature will help you jump-start monthly managed service contracts so you can start generating (more) recurring revenue.</p>

Sometimes we fix a bug on one platform before the other, but in general, we’ve been keeping up parity.</li>

<p>Every month, you&#8217;re opening, editing, and resolving tons of Tickets. You might not want to Invoice a customer every time you add a new item to their ticket(s) if you know more work is coming. That means you&#8217;ll probably have Pending Ticket Charges open at any given time.</p>

<p>Today&#8217;s Feature Friday is about Batch Invoicing. This feature lets you create one Invoice for a customer that includes all outstanding charges you haven&#8217;t invoiced them for yet. <p>Say you&#8217;re with a customer and need to print an estimate or receipt quickly. Wouldn&#8217;t it be nice if this could just happen automagically? No clicking Print or selecting which printer you need&#8230;just fully automated printing.</p>
<p>We&#8217;ve offered this through Google Cloud Print for a few years, but it can take awhile (several seconds or even minutes) for the job to get ready and actually print.</p>
<p>We wanted automatic printing to be faster and easier, so we built AutoPrintr. With AutoPrintr, you can control which documents get sent to specific printers for ultimate convenience, so receipts can go to the printer near your POS while large Ticket PDFs print in your backoffice.&#160;</p>

<p>Hopefully you have dozens or hundreds of Leads to manage at any one time. It&#8217;s a good problem to have, but it can get a little unruly.&#160;</p>
<p>We&#8217;ve recently made some improvements to the Leads Module that should make managing potential customers and jobs easier, so today we&#8217;re going to take you through those update.</p>
<p>1) Bulk Editing: apply bulk edits to all Leads with a just couple clicks to organize quickly
</p>
<p>2) Spam: blacklist email addresses to prevent Spam email from getting into your inbox and bothering you</p>
<p>3) Threaded Emails: historically when you received a new Lead and then replied to that customer, it also created a new Lead. Now the response is just added to the email thread. TL;DR: email away from the Leads module.</p>
